The C4OPS just announced by Sillynx Communications might be the first and only combat headset system able to provide GPS and force tracking capabilities to the dismounted soldier.
The built-in GPS receiver can help C4OPS locate soldiers' position and help them navigate to the target via voice prompt indications. A look at their website makes on think that re looking at an accessory for your PS3 or XBOX but in reality Sillynx is a government contractor only selling to US government buyers or to US government primes who can provide a US government contract number - which explains why their shopping cart is not quite functional.
The company has, however, not revealed the price but it is expected to cost around $1000 to $1500 with the optional GPS add-on.
